Iceberg partner Positive impact Events is a not for profit which since 2005 has been providing education, engagement and collaboration opportunities to create a sustainable event industry. Since 2016 it has had a number of Memorandums of Understanding with United Nations bodies including the UN Environment Programme, the UNFCCC (UN Framework Convention on Climate Change) and the UN SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Action Campaign.
In 2019 the UN asked for commitments to action to accelerate progress towards the SDGs. This was an opportunity to demonstrate the role of events in achieving them.
