FIEXPO, the IMEX of the LATAM region, is more than a rotating trade show for the Business Events Sector – far more.
FIEXPO founder, Arnaldo Nardone, and Development Director, Santiago Gonzales, share insight into how FIEXPO has evolved as a strategic development and capacity-building tool for all LATAM countries to better compete for, and facilitate, the hosting of events. Working with ICCA, PCMA, the GDS-Movement and #MEET4IMPACT, the event rotates to a fresh LATAM country every 3 years, but leaves a legacy in soft talent to compliment the exquisite infrastructure emerging from the region – none less so than in Panama City, home to the first regional Association Hub and brand new convention and exhibition centre.
FIEXPO rotates every 3 years leaving each LATAM destination better equipped to compete for business and professional events
New faces emerge to tell the story of how educators and a new generation of talent converge through the platform with a development framework, co-developed in partnership with the GDS-Movement and #MEET4IMPACT to grow the regional talent pool, advance the regional capacity for bidding and hosting international events, and to increase the professionalisation of the sector in partnership with ICCA, PCMA, and IAPCO.
GDS-Movement’s Alejandra Hernandez-Zita and PROMTUR Panama’s Eugenia Powell – and ICCA’s Latin America & Caribbean Chapter Chair, reveal an appetite for sectoral growth fuelled by a platform, and tools, for soft skills development.
