In March, over 5,000 delegates from across the world descended upon Singapore for the 18th World Congress of Anaesthesiologists (WCA2024). The event – a truly international affair – was to be a resounding success thanks to the collaborative efforts of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) and their co-hosts, Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA) – with the valuable support of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
Boardroom caught up with Susan de Bievre, WCA Advisor and member of the Boardroom Advisory Board to discuss the congress, what made it successful and how Singapore helped WFSA achieve their goals.
