Flavie de Bueil has more than 20 years’ experience in the Tourism and Meetings Industry. She began her career with diverse experiences in customer relations in the insurance and hospitality sectors and then decided to specialise in tourism, mixing her avid passion for international relations, people and cultures.
Having graduated in Tourism Management and Culture in 2002, she started to work for European Cities Tourism, as event coordinator. She has then led the new born association European Cities Marketing (ECM) from 2009 which has now become City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA) till now. CityDNA is the knowledge sharing alliance for cities and urban regions. In this role, Flavie is responsible for all aspects of the business of running the organisation.
Flavie has also served as an active volunteer on the Board of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), having positions on the local, regional and national level. Mother of two kids, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and is a keen swimmer and hiker, hitting the mountains when she can.
