PCMA’s flagship event for the EMEA region, Convening EMEA, rolls into Barcelona 30th September – 2nd October with Trust, Strategy, and Future the three key thematic pillars to the event. Jaimé Bennett, PCMA’s charismatic managing director for the 117 countries represented, explains how a Programme Architecture will allow for intentional and personalised experiences in order to address individual and organisational challenges, creating personalised education streams while creating micro-communities for Next-Gen or seasoned event strategists to share and learn collectively.
An elevated Programme Architecture will enable delegates to create personalised experiences using five learning formats
Bennett also introduces Convene 4 Climate, a cross-sectoral sustainability event attracting 90-120 professionals from 29 countries but from industries beyond the Business Events Industry including from those which affect the industry such as the airline and tech industries.
Convene 4 Climate, running from October 2nd – 3rd follows Convening EMEA as a double-bill described as being ‘Driven by responsibility, Fuelled by technology, To deliver transformation’.
Convene 4 Climate will address the megatrends of sustainability and technology in a bid to achieve twin-transformation, explains German Convention Bureau chief, Matthias Schultze, a founder of the recently formed Strategic Alliance of the Convention Bureaux of Europe (SANCBE) which is to co-host the event alongside PCMA.
The inaugural Convene 4 Climate will enable deeper understanding of non-industry rules and approaches to the ESG’s affecting business events
