A compelling session hosted by Cerazales-Garcia and moderated by the impressive Group Learning & Development Director of MCI Group, Avinash Chandarana, revealed an alarming level of disquiet towards the glass ceiling of generational opportunity offered to future leaders and the increasing need of organisations to align to the values of them.

PCMA President & CEO, Sherrif Karamat was clearly alarmed at how the shortage of talent faced by the sector is not being attended to fast enough [especially given the fallout of talent during the pandemic] as the leaders of today continue to fail to deliver on a pathway for 70% of the workforce come 2030.

The final word of warning from NextGen came from Sandra Khoo Ying Ying, University of Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), whose cohorts are already contemplating the creation of alternative association memberships – or communities – if their values alignment to purpose is not met by the grey hairs in the room…
