Working with sister associations the Association of Event Venues (AEV) and the Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA). the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) has compiled an economic impact study defining and measuring the significance of exhibitions to the UK economy.
Using the Size and Scale Index for Events (SASiE) data, this new report was created in conjunction with Iceberg partner UFI (the global association of the exhibition industry) and Oxford Economics and replaces the similar study undertaken in 2011.
The full report breaks down spending and impact into direct, indirect and induced impact, providing a nuanced and complex picture of the exhibition economy.
